Courtside Stats
Collection
StatsNOW is designed
to run on WindowsCE computers (it runs under
Windows95 or better too). CE handheld computers
(Pocket PCs) use a touch screen - no clumsy mouse
or track pad, just write directly on the screen. To
record a shot in StatsNOW simply tap your pen on a
picture of the court where the shot occurred. A
shot attempt is automatically recorded and added to
the shot chart. StatsNOW prompts you for input as
the game progresses, making data entry extremely
fast. You'll probably find using a handheld
computer easier than a clipboard. Data entry is so
fast that two people, a spotter and an operator,
can record every stat, including shot charts, for
every player for both teams.

Courtside Game
Analysis
The power of StatsNOW is that it can give you
compiled stats, shot charts, and graphs depicting
the game history at anytime in the game. With the
tap of a pen you can see all the stats for both
your players and your opponent's players. You can
view or print stats for any period or half of the
game. Similarly, you can check shot charts, or view
momentum graphs. Many teams use StatsNOW to record
the game right on the bench. Stats are then
immediately available anytime they are needed by
the coaching staff. Stats include:
- Total FG, 2PT,
3PT and FT made, attempt and shot %
- Off. and Def.
Rebounds
- Assist, Block,
Steals, Def. Assists, Take Charge,
Recoveries
- Turnovers, bad
passes, fumbles, violations
- User definable
stats
- Personal and
Technical fouls
- Shot charts and
momentum graphs
- Play-by-play
