Overview

StatsNOW for Basketball is comprised of two components - the Game Stats module and the Season Stats module. The Game Stats module, described here, is used to collect stats during a game and report real-time stats as the game progresses. The Game Stats module is designed to run without an internet connection once the module has loaded. Once a game is completed stats can be uploaded to the Season Stats module, posted on the web, or uploaded to a site such as MaxPreps.com.

To use the Game Stats module, go to www.statsnow.net/game/live.htm and start the module. Before beginning a game, you will need to setup a game and enter team rosters for the home and visiting teams. The Game Stats module will save your team rosters so you don't have to reenter them when they play another game.

The basic features of the Game Stats module are described below:


Enter teams players and game settings. Teams are remembered so can recall them next game. Game Stats lets you store stats for three complete games before you need to synchronize with Season Stats

Record game stats while the game is in progress. The Quick Stats feature shows you key Player stats while recording the action. Detailed stats are available anytime during the game.

Review stats, charts and play-by-play information at any time. Its all updated live while you record the action. Print box scores and shot charts for review by the coach.

Post boxscore to the web for fans and coaches to review. For more detailed analysis, upload stats to the Season Stats module and create your own custom reports.
